Going back in time.
This is a very comfortable hotel with great conveniences. Starbucks coffee is served right in the hotel coffee shop, which also serves breakfast items. There is an excellent bar inside the hotel, which served wonderful beverages as well as late night snacks. Try the grilled cheese. It’s not the standard grilled cheese; it’s better! The restaurant area is very inviting. The tables are covered in white table cloths and the menu is posted at the entrance of the restaurant. One of the issues we encountered was the shuttle service. It didn’t travel to the theater we were attending, even though the theater was only a few miles from the hotel. The other issue, there was no view to speak of from our room. Nevertheless, we would stay at the hotel again.

Great old hotel that is nicely redone. Handy location. Comfortable rooms. Overall a good value. Only downside was very unfriendly, almost hostile, housekeeping staff. Other staff were excellent.

Great Stay!!
First of all, this is a beautiful, historic and overall great hotel, and when you book on Expedia, you also get a great price for everything you get! I would not have been able to afford to stay here without Expedia’s discounted rate, and I’m so glad I found it here, because it was awesome to stay here--not just for the beauty, but the convenience as well!
