New England Charmer
I celebrated my 50th birthday at the Chanler Cliffwalk in Newport, RI, and would not have wanted to stay anywhere else. My husband and I are world travelers and decided to stay in the US and are very glad we did. The valet welcomed us by name before we even got out of the car. There was a wedding going on, but we were given 100% attention by all of the staff. The grounds, rooms and dining rooms are all gorgeous. The location is right on the water and at the beginning of cliffwalk. The valet drove us to our dinner at the more famous restaurant down the road without even a moments notice (and the meal was not even as good as the Hotels dining room the Spiced Pear). I would Very Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Newport area!
Traveler's tip
Room #25 is the Federal Room with a small fireplace, canopy bed, awesome bath and shower and a HUGE deck overlooking the water.
