Nice for the Price - can’t wait to stay at the spa and golf resort they are in process of building.
This Homewood Suites is a nice, comfortable suite on outskirts of town. If you like to golf and or gamble then your right there. I have really high expectations when I pick a hotel and hate when I do not get what I pay for... This is a good price if you just want to get a good nights sleep, not worry about traces of mold or dirty showers, and the funishing look new and elegant. That being said I would not recommend if you’re looking for a lot of luxury and pampering. The hotel is very clean and the pools view has some mountains. The front staff is over worked and seems bothered by request. I will go back to stay at the Buffalo(not sure of the exact name) hilton golf and spa resort that is going up right next to the homewood suites. Overall great place for the money.
Traveler's tip on shopping
I really enjoy the shopping in Santa Fe, the jewelry is beautiful. I am not a huge fan of the silver and turquiose but if you want a beautiful diamond, gold, platinum or opael ring I would recommend the Gold House. They have the most amazing selection of diamonds I have seen in a long time.
