nice place to stay in Dubline
The hotel was clean and fairly central and the rooms were larger than expected. The beds were too firm and there were no closet doors, but overall the stay was enjoyable. Food was good, nice bar in the hotel and gym/pool/spa facilities were well maintained.

quiet and close to the sights
I was a little concerned as on siteseeing maps, it is just off the map, and we were traveling with our parents (father-in-law is 79) but it was close enough to walk to Trinity College and Temple Bar area. You can also catch the hop-on-hop-off buses there to see the city. I would stay at the hotel again.
Traveler's tip on dining
We did not do breakfast at the botel. There is a great coffee shop right around the cornner (on the river) and you can get breakfast there much cheaper, unless you are looking for the full breakfast buffet.

Spacious Room and Great Service
Although slightly hidden and a good walk from central Dublin, this hotel was great. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. We had a large room, which was kept very clean the whole time we stayed. The room does have a kettle and provides coffee and tea. The hotel is located east of the city centre, about 20 minutes walking from St. Stephens Green and 15 minutes to Trinity College. Although Dublin is small, it is very expensive. Food is much cheaper as take-away then dining in. Do plan on seeing other parts of Ireland as well. The train system is great, with trains always leaving on time and being clean and comfortable. Trains to other cities leave from Heuston Station, which is on the other side of the city, but a short 10 minute walk along the Quay to Connolly Station will bring you to the Luas tram, which can take you to Heuston station within 15 minutes for about 2 Euros each way. If youre a U2 fan, this hotel is perfect, as it is right around the corner from their former recording studio (which now features graffiti and art dedicated to U2) and their new U2 tower.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Although the hotel has a swimming pool, its run by the gym and requires swim caps. They sell them for 2.50 Euros each, but if youre planning on swimming, you should bring caps with you to save a little money.
