Interesting Experience
This hotel is quite old and because of that things needed a little fixing up. It is outside of the city which meant a taxi ride from the bus depot. The hotel itself was clean, the staff friendly and the food excellent. There is a highway that runs close to the hotel which is quite noisy. Trucks braking and nearby train makes it a little noisy but the view at night is spectacular. You can see for miles and miles. Service in both restaurants was outstanding and they make you feel very welcome. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing weekend.
There are activities for children, a small gift shop, lovely restaurants and beautiful grounds to walk around. You are a long way from anything else but if looking for relaxation and good food this is the place. There is a lovely swim up bar to enjoy with friendly staff to serve you.
