Great hotel - I would definitely go back!
We booked a deluxe room but when we arrived they informed us that we ll have a suite , so the start was super! But it seams that everything was super= great hotel location, excellent french style designed suite ,nice furniture , very good quality bed and quilt, very clean bedroom , large bathroom and separate dressing room and the most important very helpful and polite staff and reception (rare for Paris). We ll definitely go back...

Great hotel, great location
Yes, the room was a little small but this is, after all, Paris and not Chicago or Los Angeles. And the room was comfortable and elegant. The bed was nice and firm, the pillows soft, the lighting adjustable to just the way I liked it. Every surface in my bathroom was solid marble and spotlessly clean. Being able to open and close the drapes electronically from bed was a particularly nice touch. The staff was uniformly helpful and friendly, and guests get all the frills one expects at this price level: robe, slippers, high-end toiletries, free internet, Godiva chocolates on the pillow, etc., etc. And location, location, location. I’m over 60 and comfortably walked to the Tulleries, the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Orsay, the Orangerie, the Opera House, l’Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde and the Latin Quarter. Rue Saint Honore has dozens of cafes, restaurants and boulangeries close by. And there’s plenty of high-end shopping on RSH and Rue de Rivoli. Yet the hotel’s quiet at night. It’s really hard to imagine a better location. I’ll stay at Hotel Vendome again the next time I’m in Paris, and will recommend it to anyone going there.

location,location,location
Hotel Vendome is beautiful and the location is perfect if you like haute couture. Window shopping is a must! It is a short walk to the Louve and the Opera House. Excellent bakery and chocolate shops are nearby. The hotel is lovely and the staff is very accomodating.
