Baltimore visit - Hilton Colannade
Not easy to get to, took a while at 5 PM but that is the big city. Once there the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was one of the best at a hotel in recent years. Good Breakfast.

A Relaxing Stay in Busy Baltimore
We arrived on A friday afternoon for a Saturday wedding. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Valet service and parking friendly and professional. All service staff gracious and attentive. We had requested a quiet room and were pleased to be sequestered in a nook at the end of a hallway. Perfect with a lovely view of the courtyard. Room service was delightful and delicious. Beds very comfy with dreamy pillows and comforters. Massages are available onsite.
Traveler's tip
This hotel is located in the heart of Johns Hopkins University. Valet Parking is $23 if you park, $24 if they park. A bit steep. Room service adds an !8 % gratuity and $6 in room service charge. There is a Starbucks Coffee Shop in the Lobby and a lovely onsite restaurant/wine bar, Alizee. Off site, there are small walking distance restaurants and watering holes. Think University!

great hotel; needs more attention to detail
The hotel itself is lovely, convenient to Johns Hopkins U. and some fun neighborhoods. The staff were very courteous and pleasant and the room clean and quiet. The things wrong with the room were small and swiftly attended to, but there were a few. The in-room coffee maker didn’t work, I ran out of toilet paper, one of the light bulbs was burnt out when I arrived, forgot to give my room a newspaper in the am. Not big deals, but the Hilton chain is usually more attentive to detail. I’d certainly give them another try, though, and recommend them to others.
