Can’t wait to go back
I loved this hotel perfect city view everything was closed but didnt even use my car everything was walking distance. All the personnel are very helpful and couteous. The cleaniness of the room is impressive I loved the room.

slightly disappointed with room expectations, city vs. river view
We booked 2 rooms, one with 2 double beds and a cityview, and one with a king bed and a riverview. Upon check-in, the riverview room was not truly a river view but only partially a river view, with the view mostly obstructed. The other room, the city view room, incidentally had a better view of teh reiver and riverwalk than the other one..... and there is a price diffrerence, so be careful in making your reservation. This was a real let-down. I tried to call and get a room change, but they had no availability at that time, and it was on our reservation, ..our stay was brief- only one night, but it would have been very nice to get exactly what we had wanted, and paid for...

Riverwalk’s Finest!
The Hotel Contessa is ideally located on the Riverwalk. Our room (suite) was wonderful - loved having a separate TV/sitting area. The bathroom was spacious, luxurious linens, everything you could want. The king bed was comfy with plenty of pillows and good linens also. The breakfast buffet was great (that was the only meal we ate at the hotel during our stay). Staff was friendly and very helpful in directing us to restaurants. Will definitely stay at the Hotel Contessa again!
