A great place to stay!
The Ester was a wonderful hotel. I was in Poland for vacation and just had a great time. I travel a good deal, and I wish every hotel I stay at was as nice as the Ester!
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
There are great tour companies available in Krakow to visit places like the birthplace of John Paul II, Auschwitz, and the Salt Mine. The Salt Mine is worth seeing!

Clean, Quaint, Great Food, Perfect Location, Helpful Staff
Highly recommended! The location is perfect: nice 10-minute walk to Wawel Hill and 15 minutes to main square in Old Town, on lovely square in historic Jewish Quarter. Rooms are immaculate and newly-renovated. Lovely breakfast buffet served daily. Quiet and picturesque setting. Staff is friendly and helpful but NOT highly knowledgeable about local hot-spots and restaurants. Would stay again and recommend to family and friends.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Krakow is a gorgeous place. Make sure to get a personal guided tour of the cathedral on Wawel Hill, many great bars and cafes in and around Old Town, take the tour of communist life in Nowa Huta, day trip to Auschwitz, salt mines, and the art museum north of the main square with great artifacts and paintings. Also go to the Chopin recitals performed nightly on the main square.
