Cozy, clean, and an excellent location
A very nice place with friendly staff (Karen was very helpful). The location has easy access to the rugby pitch at Wagner Park.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Only one block from the Rugby Pitch at Wagner Park.

Affordable stay in Aspen
High quality furnishings. Central location. It is really a comfortable hotel if you can deal with the slight misgivings. Our deluxe room was on the small side, especially the bathroom, compared to a previous stay. We would definitely stay there again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Drive up the Independence Pass to the Continental Divide - walk as far or as little as you want. Take the bus, connect at Highlands and stop off at the Maroon Bells (if you rent a bike you can cycle back down) Rent a bike & cycle down to Basalt or Carbondale then bring the bikes back on the front of the bus (takes 4)

Surly front desk staff
Title says it all. Not all were unhelpful, and the manager was nice, but I shouldnt have to speak with the manager, should I? The sunroof leaked water, so the living room area, which would have been a nice added touch, was wet and unusable.
