Great Hotel-Safe Walk to Beale Street
I didn’t know what kind of neighborhood the hotel would be in but was pleasantly surprised. Located only blocks away from Beale street it was an easy safe walk. They also have a trolley around the block that runs for $1if you’d rather ride to Beale street. PLUS-the best continental breakfast I’ve had at an hotel. I’d stay there again.

The staff was very helpful. For the price the hotel was a bargain. I’d stay there again.

Enjoyable Stay
We booked the king size smoking room with city view. It was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. It was also very quite. The Parking garage could be improved with better signs and better security.
Traveler's tip
If visiting Beale Street for night life, do not walk the five blocks. Take the trolley or a cab or drive. We were in Memphis in the middle of the week and there was no police presence or cabs when we decided to walk back to the hotel at 9 PM at night. We were approached twice. We honestly felt safe in New Orleans.
