Would most definately return

My husband and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary we booked a two day stay at the Chateau Beauvillon at Mont Tremblant Quebec and we were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and we were treated very well. The chef even made a special anniversary dinner for us. The suite was comfortable and the view was spectacular with the lake and the mountain as a backdrop. All the comforts of home away. I recommend this hotel highly and hope to return again next summer.

Autumn at Mont Tremblant is most spectacular, not only do you avoid the crowds that summer at Tremblant brings but the foliage and gondola ride to the summit is a breathtaking experience. The shops are quaint and walking about the village was most enjoyable. I enjoyed the nearby town of Ste Jovite as well, the only negative fact is that many of the places are closed as the summer crowd is gone and it is too early for winter skiing so it is rather quiet but for those of us who enjoy the tranqulity are fine with this.

Great staff! Very helpful and polite. They did everything they could and more to make us feel comfortable and be sure we didn’t lack anything. We’ll go back for sure. Close to town for all activities.

We loved this place!

We had a terrific stay at the Chateau Beauvallon. Our suite was spacious with everything we had hoped for (cherry cabinetry, granite counters and vanities, slate foors, fine linens). The lake view from our deck was an added surprise! The staff was great... everyone was eager to help and very friendly. We speak no French yet had no problems whatsoever. This was a summer trip. We can’t wait to go back in Autumn!

Chateau Beauvallon is about a 5-10 minute drive from the resort area. We loved the fact that it was more secluded, but others may want to be in the middle of the tourist bustle.

$50 plus in charges for local calls

Approx 15 minutes in locAL calls ended up costing me $50. Even though literature said local cals free. We have friends that have house exactly 20 miles away and we were charged a ridiculous amount for local call to same 819 area code. Although we asked mgmt to remove charges they would not . It is clearly marked in their literature that local calls were free. Could have used my cell even with intl roaming it would have been less. Other than room being very dusty hotel was great

Fantastic hotel

This was my 2nd stay at Chateau Beauvallon and it was just as great as the first. The staff are always friendly & willing to help with directions, restaurant suggestions, and making appointments at the spa. Room service was shockingly reasonably priced & very quick. I love the hotel’s location because it’s set off on its own, but is only a few minutes drive to any of the Tremblant & Mont-Tremblant activities. I love that every room includes a kitchen so that we can bring leftovers home from restaurants & reheat them later. I couldn’t imagine going to Mont-Tremblant & NOT staying at Chateau Beauvallon. Between Chateau Beauvallon & the Le Scandinave spa, those are the reasons we go to Tremblant!

Great Getaway

Great place with great rooms, at a great location. Arrival was quick and easy. The room was spacious and well appointed. When we wanted to find a great place to the eat, the front desk was well informed and provided us with suggestions. We were already talking about staying here when we go back to Mont Tremblant

If you are a foodie and would like to enjoy a great atmosphere have the front desk reserve a meal at Le Seb, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent service

Although the hotel is a bit out of the way, i.e. by itself on a busy road, the staff was just excellent with getting anyone to/from where they wanted to go. In general, the staff was extremely friendly and personable.

Nice small hotel but not exceptional

We really enjoyed the Mont Tremblant resort area. Fortunately, the weather was relatively warm so the roads were good between the hotel and the resort. We did have a good view of some deer from the hotel room window. And the tvs were a hit (flat screen in every room). We also appreciated the (small) kitchen area. The rooms seemed dark though. And the bedrooms were quite small.

Lovely hotel 1 mile from the slopes

Very nice layout, 1 mile from the lifts. The indoor pool and outdoor hot tub were big hits with the kids. The room was lovely. However, do not plan on intimacy if traveling with kids. The french doors between the bathrooms and the main bedroom are glass and do not close coompletely. The front desk ws a bit iffy. Sometimes there was someone there, sometimes not. When there, they were very courteous and friendly. The restaurant was tasty but quite expensive.

Take advantage of the suite and bring some food. The local fare is very pricey.

Great place with kids

This was our third year at Chateau Beauvallon and the service was wonderful. We didn’t have to leave the hotel to get our children’s rented ski gear. The hotel staff contacted the rental office and someone was on site within half an hour. The shuttle to and from the ski area is great. I would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone going in that area. The rooms are wonderful, very clean and the fireplaces are a welcome sight at the end of the day.

Mixed feelings about this great hotel.

Pros: Very nice and cosy rooms. Very clean. Excellent service. Nice place to stay. Cons: We were there in January on very cold days and usually after the first two people showered (there were four of us), we would run out of hot water in the shower(heaters could not handle the load???) So, ladies first. Me and my son would finish up showering in the cold water. Thank God, I used to belong to Polar Bears Club, but for my son it was a weird experience. Heater in one of the bathrooms was not working as well, which added quite a bit of unpleasantness to the overall experience.

Excellent Service - Good location

We picked Chateau Beauvallon based on Tripadvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed. The staff was fabulous and helpful; the shuttles into town/to the slopes (there are two - the Chateau Van and a ski shuttle)worked great; the rooms are nice and the building is new. The Jacuzzi outside was fun. The kitchen was outfitted, so we cooked our own breakfast; the room had two full baths. My only complaint was that the door to the bedroom was a set of frosted glass french doors that did not close completely, which definitley put a crimp on some night time activites. Overall, we would go back.

Great Suites for Families

2 Bedroom suite was perfect for a family of 4. All hotel employees were very nice and mostly helpful. Shuttle to base of the mountain convenient. Pool & hot tub temp were great even when weather was cool.

Fantastic family bike riding nearby. Look on web for Linear park trail maps and multi-purpose trail maps for bike riding before you leave home. Limited info at hotel and in the tourist areas.

Superb

We loved our stay at Chateau Beauvallon. The rooms are spacious and elegant; the grounds of the hotel are beautiful; the outdoor pool and hot tub are well maintained; and the service is excellent. Plus there is a lot to do in the Mount Tremblant area and this hotel is near the attractions.

GREAT BANG FOR THE BUCK

The rooms are beautiful with plenty of room to spread out. Small bedrooms provide for a very large living room. It is not "on" the mountain for skiing, but it is a very easy 3 to 5 minute drive up to the ski area with easy parking and a pedestrian lift that will take you up to the ski lifts without having to do much walking. For the summer it is close to the golf course and restaurants in the surrounding villages.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

They have a shuttle service to take you to different locations, but I would suggest renting a car so you can explore at your own pace. There are several very nice gourmet restaurants within a 10 minute drive any different directions.
