Paradise in Punta Cana
We stayed at the Paradisus Palma Real, in the Reserve part of the hotel. They upgraded our room for free at check-in and the rest of the trip just kept getting better. The pools and hotel areas are immaculate and even the smallest details are amazing. The food was definitely not the best food I’ve had, so that would be the one thing to expect going in. However, the beautiful, lush landscaping and perfect weather made it worth every penny!! Wish we could go back every year!!
Bring bug spray!!!! I was eaten alive!!

Extraordinary experience!
We visited the Paradisus Palma Real on an incredible 5-day getaway. With its powdered-sugar-sand beach, gorgeous pool, exceptional cuisine, surprisingly high-quality nightly performances, and peerless customer service, our expectations were exceeded at every turn. Activities were both plentiful and of the highest quality: we snorkeled, rode horseback on the beach, sailed a catamaran, lounged by the pool, and even attempted a bicycle ride. Paradisus Palma Real is the ultimate relaxation point - highly recommended!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Taxi costs from the airport to the hotel can vary widely - we paid $30 each way & felt this was reasonable. Be sure to book activities soon after arrival as some (such as snorkeling) fill up quickly. Have fun!

Not Impressed
Arrived for our Honeymoon and they did not have our room with a King bed. They had to put two double together our first night and would not compensate us. Both rooms had something broken in each bathroom. Spent almost 3 hours instead of 90 min our first morning for them to try to sell us a time share. Waisted a gorgeous morning. Then waisted a afternoon changing rooms. Will not use the free vacation they gave us. Was not happy. Food was not that great unless you ate dinner in the restuarants and not many times available. I would not go back.
