looking forward to next year
My only complaint was that the air conditioning is placed in the wrong location in the room to give adequate cooling. The staff did bring in a fan for us to use which did help somewhat. The staff was very friendly and ready to help in any way they could.

Great location
This is my third time staying at this hotel. I usually stay here when I come to Waikiki because of it’s great location--just a couple blocks from Kuhio Beach. The first 2 times I stayed at this hotel, I got a corner room with a spacious balcony. This time was a little disappointing because I got one of the rooms on the side, which has just a small, very narrow strip of balcony. Another minor negative, we asked the lobby if we could use their computer to check-into our flight online the night before our departure and they wouldn’t do it. However, a couple nights prior, they were nice enough to look up driving directions for us online and even printed it out for us. I guess it just depends who’s on duty at the time...

the portable a/c unit wasnt as effective to cool down the room,.
Very nice stay, good hotel staff sepcially the maid and the front desk staff, the parking company wasnt quite responsive to real and valid issues, they didnt even bother to call me back when i reported to them that their parking tkt vending machine robbed me my $20 bill. The parking fee was too much the hotel should look into this. But other than that, the hotel itwelf was pleasant and very accessible and inexpensive.
