Lovely Beachside Motel (Not Resort)
This little place right off highway 101 offers rooms with full ocean view and partial ocean view. It can be had fairly inexpensively in the off season. Although the name is Seacrest Resort, it is in no way a resort. It is a motel with a pool on the beach. There is no bar or cocktail lounge or spa services. There is a Marie Calendars restaurant next door for dining. This was a great motel, but it is a motel and I think potential visitors should know that. However, it is in close proximity to Pismo Beach shopping and restaurants. We walked there along the beach and it took about 1/2 hour. Ocean view rooms have lovely little balconies for watching the sunset over the ocean. Free wireless internet is tricky, but the support company is spot on. This place was a good value for the price.
