Would definitely recommend
This hotel exceeded our expectations. Our suite was cozy and the service provided was above and beyond. The hotel staff made it a point to greet us everytime they saw us and made us feel very welcome. The location is a bit out of the way if you want to hit the casinos on the south end, but it is close to Truckee. We had dinner and drinks a couple of nights during our stay at the pub in the resort and the quality of the food was more than I expected. The only thing that I didnt like was that they didnt offer HBO, other than that everything was great.

Just Gorgeous
Part of the beauty of this hotel is the mounting setting. Absolutely stunning. The food in the Six Peaks Grilled and Sandys Pub were exceptional. We were there during the off-season Oct. 2009 and the staff were excellent. They have a FREE shuttle to nearby Olympic Village with more shopping and restaurants. Book your trip right away.

Close to Tahoe Blue
The Resort at Squaw Creek is our favorite place to stay. During the summer it is fairly quiet with access to the Olympic Village, river side trail for biking and hiking, and just a very short drive to either Lake Tahoe or Truckee. Concierge service is top notch!
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Aside from the great dining onsite, we recommend Dragonfly Restaurant in Truckee or Evans Restaurant in Emerald Bay for some of the best dining around. Lake Tahoe Adventures offers ATV runs in the summer and snowmobile runs in the winter. Truckee Whitewater does great Truckee River runs. Alpine Meadow offers horseback riding. All within short drives from Resort.
