Good for Budget Minded Disney Traveler
The best thing about this hotel was its proximity to Disneyland; it was a 10 minute walk from the hotel room to the front gates. I would recommend this hotel to others ONLY if they were looking for an inexpensive, relatively clean place to sleep and store souvenirs while visiting the Disney Parks. The hotel is older and it is starting to show signs of age. Most notably in the electronic key-locks. Three times my wife or I had to go down to the front desk to get replacement cards and at one time a fellow in a room a few doors down had to wait while maintenance replaced the entire lock/knob assembly. Try to get a room facing the park so you can see the fireworks at night. Some of the wings of the hotel face the freeway. It’s worth waiting a while for a room with a fireworks view. As a note; when they say check in is at 4PM, they mean it.
If you end up getting to the hotel with kids a long time before check-in (as we did) before you check your luggage in with security, be sure to have bathing suits and sunscreen out.

Great Proximity
If you are are planning a trip to Disneyland and you want a nice clean room (not a dive) without much walking, this is a great hotel. Approximately 1/2 mile from the park entrance there is no need for a shuttle. If you are opposed to loud noises you might want to reconsider; the evening fireworks go off directly accross the street and sound like they are right next door.
