good hotel/ staff could have been friendlier
Upon arrival, the lady at the front desk seemed irrated that we were there. Breakfast had finished in the hotel and when we showed up we interrupted her eating time. Great value for the price. Parking in front of the hotel is hard but there is a parking area in the back for guests. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk, depending on how fast you walk, to the metro station which is easy. We stayed next door in the Embassy Apartments because we are a family of 4. It had a kitchenette and our own bathroom. They also have free wireless internet.
We rented a car but it was unnecessary because the metro (tube) is close. The metro is one circle. You cannot get lost. Just ask someone which stop to get off for the tourist information office. It is in George Square. Ride the Hop-on-hop-off bus, you can get on at the square. F.Y.I. they only accept cash.
