Great once we found it.
The price was very competitive (winter) and the hotel did everything well. Don’t trust the Google directions and maps won’t help. Finding a way to get accross 95 with a car is difficult. Walking is easy.

not bad but nothing to write home about staff was nice and enjoyed the shuttle service provided by the hotel

I’m going back to The Comfort Inn next month
I like the Comfort Inn in the historic section of Philadelphia. It’s right on the Delaware River next to the Ben Franklin Bridge. Nice view @ sunrise. The breakfast is very good. They start the coffee pot @ 4 AM and the make-your-own-waffles are the best starting @ 7AM. No charge for internet service and the free shuttle bus are nice extras. Everything is fine with this reasonably-priced hotel. My only complaint is there was no response from 3 take out menus for food delivery. I was very tired from photographing the Mummer Parade all day. BUT a knock came on the door after I was fed up with calling. It was a delivery man with 2 hamburgers that I did NOT order. He wanted to check the name at the front desk. I told him if you can’t find the person who ordered I will pay for it. Five minutes later I was eating hamburger. [ Serendipity ] I am returning the end of February.
