A Fun Get Away
I loved this hotel! We were greeted warmly at the door and by the staff at the front desk. We were invited to the Happy Hour in the lobby but did not attend because we had early dinner reservations. It looked like a blast by the fireplace with wine, appetizers and a Wii going. I loved our room! It was roomy and decorated lovely. My only complaint was that we were in a spa room with a large tub with jets but the jets barely worked which was dissapointing.

Not Impressed
The hotel had great decor and a cool atmosphere. The service was lacking. Our room had a handicapped shower...no bathtub...complete with grab bars and shower chairs and other misc devices. It wasnt very comfortable. Asked the front desk on two different days of there was anything we could do about this and they refused. Parking was ridiculous $28 a day for valet or $18 each time you come and go. Paking cost more than the rental car...Crazy!

not as good as other Hotel Monacos
The room was long and dark, even with the lights on. I had to work in there and could not wait to get out. The usual charm of the Hotel Monaco was completely lacking from this room. It was set up for wheel chair access which may have been a reason it was not as nice as others. Also, there was no second blanket handy and the duvet was thin.
