Very Richmond!
We enjoyed the row house decor. It was reminissent of the time we lived in Richmonds Fan area. The service was very good! Local restaurants were awsome, especially Travis on Broad St.

Plenty of history at a good location
The considerable history associated with this hotel, as well as its excellent location on the edge of the business district and across from the city library, make the hotel an appealing choice. The garden room was excellent for the price, and the complimentary breakfast was adequate. A public parking deck is a block away, and there is some street parking. However, the hotel is not bustling with activity and doesnt have large public rooms to see and be seen in. The principal flaw was a surprisingly cool welcome at the check-in desk. The garden area could be quite attractive if the grass and shrubs were spruced up.

Not Impressed
This hotel has seen its better days. It could be avery charming place with some rennovations. I found hair in my bed, and it took forever for the staff to rectify the situation. The room was dusty and not well maintained. The location was ok. There is not much in the way of eating in the area. Next time I am going to try the Jefferson Hotel.
