Absolutely Superb
A truly superb hotel of exceptional taste. Great service (despite MTV Awards), even the standard room was very spacious and the location as good as it gets. Have also stayed on a number of occasions at the Hotel De Russie (of the Rocco Forte group) in Rome which is also superb but thought this was even better. As some frineds where staying at the Adlon I moved there with my wife after staying at the Hotel De Rome and can safely say that the Adlon seems tacky and mass market compared to the Hotel De Rome (wish I had remained at the Hotel De Rome). Will definately stay there again on my next visit to Berlin.

wonderfully located hotel
i cannot fault this hotel. it is convenient to major tourist sites. the staff is pleasant and courteous. the rooms are clean and comfortable. the concierge service was a wonderful help to us as we planned our days. i would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful and charming hotel located in a former bank building
Outstanding location for touring all of Berlin’s sights.Walking distance to museums, Brandenburg Gate,etc. Service was impeccable. Dining room was beautiful and upstairs on the roof was a gorgeous roof deck for drinks and sunset. Hotel had a spa which we did not use. Concierge was very helpful as was the front desk. Entertainment nightly in the bar was nice to come home to.Loved the place!!!
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Immediate restaurants were not in the area, but a few blocks away were lovely ones.Just ask and they will tell you where to go. So much sightseeing to see in Berlin that for days we alked and just soaked up the hisotory of this formerly divided city. I had to relearn so much. Just fascinating to see how much growth is going on. I will return one day.
