It felt like home in paradise
What a wonderful place to stay and what a pleasant surprise. I thought I’d simply booked an inexpensive hotel room...I didn’t realize we were getting a beautiful condo (we were upgraded at no cost) within walking distance to everything (restaurants, shops, even a grocery store). It felt like we were in our own home with a full kitchen and the ability to wash our clothes if we wanted. The grounds were lovely and the pools were wonderful. It was so relaxing to sit by the pool (flowers blooming and birds chirping nearby in early January) in the early morning with my laptop, check my email, and drink my coffee. Fabulous! Relaxing! Just what I needed! We’ve already decided that next time we come to Maui (and this was our first trip), we will definitely stay here again. It just felt very personalized.

Not Impressed
For the price of the room, very little amenities provided at this resort. Even in January, not enough room at the pool to sit. No pool towels unless you walked all the way to a cottage for housekeeping. There was updating of the solar panels on the roof and we were woken up very early by pounding noises and had to call the front desk to find out what was going on and for how long this was going to be happening. No other rooms that were comparable were available. Air conditioning in one of the rooms had to be repaired while we were there.
