The accommodations were nice and the front desk person was extremely helpful and accommodating. We did have a problem with ants, but didnt report it until it was time for us to leave. I dont want my review posted.

" the worse ever"
I have never had an experience like that in all my travels, there should be a secret visitor sent to that place.

Kinda dirty, but great service
The staff at this hotel were very kind and helpful, however the overall appearance of the hotel was less than stellar. It looks like it must have just changed hands over from the Clubhouse to the Savannah Garden Inn, as the exterior of the building still has remnants of the old hotels signs, and signs within the hotel still say the Clubhouse, which made it a little confusing. The front lobby area was clean and beautiful, but this cannot be said about the rest of the hotel. The hallways were dirty, looked like they hadnt been vacuumed in weeks, and there were even dead bugs on the floor. It was pretty unsightly. Inside the room was very clean, except for two dead bugs in the bathroom. It could be that pest control had just come the day before and these are what crawled out and died, but they staff still should have checked the room for this. Everything else about the room was very very nice, but I found the bed to be way to hard, and it really hurt my back and hips to sleep on it (but to each his own). The free hot breakfast in the morning was fabulous and more than made up for the bugs in the hallway. Id stay here again, even with the bugs.
