Hotel in decline
This could be a great hotel, but maintenance of the equipment within the rooms is lacking. Coffee maker doesn’t work right. Television has a poor picture and makes a very loud buzz when its turned on. Faucet in shower is falling apart. Refrigerator barely cools.

Our favorite place in Orlando
This is the best place we have stayed in the Orlando/Disney area. We have enjoyed Embassy Suites in other places but seldem stay there due to the high cost. This place was a real bargain when you consider the total cost includes breakfast and evening cocktails. Being close to Disney saves time traveling to the parks, the nightly drinks and snacks are great, and the fantastic breakfast is the best way to start the day. The morning breakfast cook is very funny! It is wonderful to start the day with a laugh. He knows everyones name and if he doesn’t, he makes one up for you! In short, a great hotel with a fine staff and very well run.

The staff was very helpful. The chef, Ed, made breakfast fun for everyone. My son still talks about him. Only one recommendation, is it possible to make the one far wing the only smoking section. It was a little difficult having to walk from the far wing and pass by many outside side their room smoking. Walking through the smoke wasn’t good for anyone
Make time to get away from the theme parks and enjoy meals at the many fine restaurants throughout the city. They do their best at customer service to get you in the doors and keep you coming back. Prices were less expensive with the same quality of food or better than the parks had to offer.
