Savannah Hyatt/ Wont go back
Although the hotel itself is situated in a perfect location to Riverstreet and the historical areas of the city.. So are many other hotels in the same area. The room was decent... The Front Desk personnel were extremely efficient and polite, however as far as the room was concerned, i was turned off by the toilet not flushing all the way..(Plumbing problems.) You had to flush it about 4 times to have it clean, and then there was immediate standing water in the shower..(Makes you wonder AGAIN.. About the plumbing) , and the bathrooms need to be re-painted , wallpapered..etc... It’s a well used hotel, and the rooms show it. You’d be better off paying a little less and staying at one of the other Many hotels , even the smaller ones that are in the area.

Great time in Savannah
enjoyed the security. Had to use the room key if you stayed above level 2; no uninvited visitors. Everyone professional and helpful. Enjoyed the convenience of River Street.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Although staying on the river was nice when we go back to Savannah we will stay somewhere else and save money on the room to use for shopping. Although Savannah is built in squares it is easy walking from park to park.

Not Impressed
Not as nice as I thought a Hyatt would be. AC in room did not work properly and safe in room broke with belongings inside. Took maintenance hours to get it open and then it was never fixed or replaced during our stay.
