Good choice for this part of the Outer Banks
This hotel is relatively new and certainly is well maitained. The staff was friendly and the service exactly as I would have expected from a Hilton Gardens. The rate was a bit stiff but frankly evrything can be spendy on the Outer Banks during the season, and this is one of the nicer, newer properties you will encounter.

I would definitely go back
This is a great hotel for families. The deluxe room with breakfast is worth it; especially if there are multiple people in the room.
Make sure you call the hotel before your arrival date to confirm your reservation. I did and found out that they had us in a king room even though we booked a room with two queen beds.
