Fairmont Vancouver
This was our first ever trip to Canada and what a beautiful place to end up spending our 3 nights in! Wonderful staff, central location, beautiful and comfortable room.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If you are up for some walking, Stanley Park is about 7 blocks away and is a wonderful place to spend the day. Also there are wonderful restaurants within a few minutes walk. Our personal favorite was a little Italian place called Ballagio cafe. They were excellent for breakfast lunch or dinner, we had all three there!

Great Hotel - OK Housekeeper Service
My stay at the Fairmount was beautiful. My only complaint is that the housekeeper knocked at my door the first morning at your door @8:30AM to start leaning the room eventhough I did not set the button to have my room clean as yet. The third morning housekeeping came again at 8:30am but this time she did not knock. while sitting watching television I heard the key opening the door. I yelled out --Excuse Me- she then apolize and exit. Management did apolize to me and offered a cup of coffee for my inconvenience (Yes a cup of coffee). Overall the hotel is beautiful and I had a great time. I would recommend it and would stay there again. Next time I will use the "DO NOT DISTURB SIGN"
