Dont Miss Out on This Rare Tropical Paradise!
My wife and I were on vacation from Pennsylvania in late October 2009. It was unseasonably hot and we had just arrived in Clearwater Beach after 2 exhausting days in Orlando. From the moment we arrived at the Sandpearl, we were whisked away to an island paradise. The valet parking and staff took care of all of our needs and we were brought into a VIP area where we comfortably sat and checked into the hotel. We were offered cool towels and glasses of champagne immediately upon being seated. Our room was upgraded to a gulf view with a balcony. The room was beatifully appointed and the balcony and gulf view were much better than other reviewers had suggested. We headed immediately down to the spa and had his and her spa treatments. The staff brought us a great platter of sushi, flatbread pizza, beer & wine. Mind you, all of this costs money, but I highly suggest you check out the spa. We then headed down to the beach to watch the sunset with Mojitios at the hotels gulf front bar. With camfires going, this is next closest thing youll get to a California or Hawaii sunset beach scene. We took a drive down the coast and enjoyed St. Petersburg. The neighborhood of Mandaly immediately around the resort was clean and lively and featured all sorts of shops and alternate places to eat. There was a great diner for a cheap breakfast and we went a block away to see a band playing at a small bar on halloween night. We cant wait to go back!
Save on breakfast and eat at the diner on the main strip down the street from the hotel.

This was probably one off the nicest places I have ever stayed. Great rooms, food, truly a 5 star resort.

Impressive for Florida
Truly a great hotel for a 4 star establishement. I have stayed in Ritz that was not as impressive as this place. Everybody is trying very hard to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The little restaurant next door has surprisingly very good food, from breakfast to dinner, large and diverse menu, great taste.
