Great place to stay to explore Paris
Hotel was a great place to stay to explore Paris. Convenient to subway which makes all of Paris accessible. Rooms were small by Amereican standards, but quite comfortable with a classic Parisian feel. The elevator is really small... I mean really small. Two people can barely fit...and forget about fittng any luggage in it...use the bellman. Bed was comfortable and the mini fridge was a great place to keep snacks. The only real down side was that there were no working English television channels in our room, and the ceiling in that bathroom looked really dirty. We never ate breakfast at the hotel...it was expensive and didnt look all that great compared to the wonderful restaurants all over Paris. While in Paris, dont miss out on a dinner cruise down the river, it is a must. Life is much easier if someone in your group speaks French...All in all the hotel was nice at a fair price...an lets face it...youre in Paris, whats not to love?
Traveler's tip on dining
Check out the Batteaux Parisian dinner cruise...the food is amazing and its a great way to see the sights of Paris. One of the most romantic evenings ever!

Very nice hotel
Its a very nice 4 star hotel. Tight but cosy. Obviously the room is not large, but for Paris standard its good and it has everything you need. Internet is free, people from reception is kind and courteous and speak fluent English. The hotel is in a good location, its on the left bank but you are 5 minutes walk from the bridge at Place de La Concorde on the right bank, so you have the best from both sides of the river. Be aware that the elevator is very tiny, only 2 persons at time or one person and a large suitcase, but all parisians old elevators are like that.
Traveler's tip on dining
Take the buffet breakfast at the hotel, its 15 euros/person and it has everything, if you decide to take breakfast in a coffe shop or restaurant you will pay the same and eat less and worst food. You can visit Louvre at night in some weekdays, its not so crowd and you dont have to wait in line to buy a ticket. In the morning is very crowd, be aware of it.

Terrific hotel in quiet neighborhood
This hotel is great if you want a clean, quiet hotel right in the middle of Paris but away from the noisy touristy areas. The rooms are on the small side but extremely quiet (it was so quiet I thought I was the only guest in the hotel). Staff is very friendly. I tried speaking French but got stuck, and they gave a cheerful chuckle and switched to English with no problem. Breakfast was available, and Wi-Fi was free and worked perfectly my entire stay. Easy to reach this hotel from CDG airport: take the RER from CDG to St-Michel Notre Dame and transfer to a C-line train to Invalides. You can use RER trains for the entire trip and wont have to carry heavy luggage through the Metros notorious tunnels and staircases. The Invalides RER station is 2 blocks from the hotel, but there are two or three other Metro stations nearby and its a snap to get to Concorde, which has connections to many of the other lines. I couldnd find any grocery stores, convenience stores, or Starbucks-like coffee shops in the vicinity of this hotel (a few on the other side of Invalides), and the neighborhood to the south and west is pretty boring. But the area between the hotel and the DOrsay Museum has a lot of restaurants, bars, and brasseries. Id stay at this hotel again on future visits.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
There is a BNP Paribas bank one block south of the hotel, and Bank of America customers can use their BofA ATM cards at BNP Paribas ATMS with no fee and a pretty decent exchange rate. I saved a lot of money doing this... and the BNP Paribas ATMs dispense a mixture of large and small bills, something I wish American ATMs would do.
