Very nice hotel

Very nice hotel, but wasn’t as wowed as I thought I would be after reading many of the previous reviews. Have stayed in hotels just as nice in many cities. The staff is very helpful and friendly though.

seattle getaway

lovely hotel. everything is subtle, but really one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at. The food in the restaurant is really good, the location is convenient to everything, and service at the hotel is always helpful, but unassuming. We’ve stayed there twice and would again if we were ever in Seattle

Incredible hotel!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly, the room was gorgeous, the view was amazing, and the location was perfect. We want to live there.

This hotel was awesome! The rooms are big, clean and modern. The bathroom was huge with plenty of room to get ready in. The location was perfect and allowed us to walk to everything we needed to get to. The staff was friendly and helpfull. Seattle was a great town to visit and staying at the Hotel 1000 made it that much more special.

Great location

Hotel 1000 is perfectly placed in downtown Seattle, easy to get around by foot, bus, or taxi. The staff is highly professional and accommodating... exactly what you expect from a hotel of this caliber.

Almost exactly as advertised

Every rating service I trust had Hotel 1000 at the top of the list in Seattle. Not that I have stayed at anywhere near all of the comparable choices downtown, but I find it hard to imagine that anything else is substantially better. My girlfriend likes her hotels a bit more traditional than I do, but after a couple of nights here, she agreed that this hotel is a perfect combination of class, service and just the right amount of trendiness. Very nice. We used Spaah and thoroughly enjoyed the couples massage. We asked the therapists where they would eat seafood in the area and by the time we were done with the massage, the spa receptionist and the concierge had put together a written list of 4 great places within 5 blocks walking distance. The concierge also provided perfect service in helping us plan a long late night cab trip. We were a little worried about getting a return cab late at night. His repsonse was to hand me his card and tell me that if we had the slightest bit of trouble, call him and the hotel car would be on its way in 5 minutes. Honestly, we instantly relaxed. The perfect answer. We both especially loved the bathroom, toiletries, tub setup, and the window into the bedroom. Fun and very usable. Her only comment—a pillowtop bed would make Hotel 1000 just about perfect. All in all, Hotel 1000 is now on my top 5 list of hotels.

Seattle’s Best Location

From the moment we drove up to Hotel 1000 in our rental car, the service was excellent. Our room with "deluxe water view" was even better than expected. The location was incredible because any direction we walked, there was something within close proximity to that was worth seeing/visiting. Close to "Pikes Market", "Pioneer Square", "Tram to the Space Needle", "Harbor Walk", "Bike Trail System", "Ferries", "Shopping" etc. This was our first time visiting the area and we will definitely stay ther for our next trip to the area.

Excellent!

I was very impressed with everything about Hotel 1000. Location was perfect for our trip and the room was exceptional. The valet parking attendants were particularly good. We look forward to another stay in the spring.

Play Golf Indoors

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay at Hotel 1000. It was a surprise for his birthday and he LOVED the indoor golf. You can play from 50 different courses and charge the drinks to your room. They have sets of golf clubs for you to use and it was a fantastic system! We can’t wait to play there again. BOKA is one of the best places to eat in the city. Everyone was friendly. It is comparable to area 5 star hotels. The service isn’t on quiet the same level, but the rooms are updated and higher tech.

Traveler's tip

I tried to make an online reservation for golf a week before our reservation. I never heard back from hotel. If you have the same situation, I recommend you call to make the reservation. I think the form is broken. Don’t forget your Advil. The front desk only has "pain away" and it didn’t do the trick. Also, we had a small luggage mishap involving the valet. It was a good reminder that you should always check the trunk for your bags before you drive away...

Can’t say enough about this hotel. Besides the hotel being fabulous the service was incredible. I have never been more impressed. It was an absolute pleasure to see people smiling nonstop and not just willing but thrilled to help you with anything. The location was great. The restaurant was great. The room was fantastic and the service was delightful. It had the best of both worlds. The Ritz accommodations with that small hotel feel. Everyone down to the doorman knew our name and went above and beyond to make us feel special. We felt like the only people staying there. Really couldn’t ask for more.

An Island of Excellence

This small hotel well located close to all the major attractions can compete with them all. It’s secret is obvious when you walk in... a glass of champagne? This hotel has found the secret... selecting the proper employees!! They ALL are sincere, caring and take action on any request you may have joyfully. Truly amazing. Every single one of them!!!

Best hotel stayed in ever and we travel 8 months of the year !

This is an excellent hotel and the service is something you rarely see ever - impeccable. We travel 8 months a year so we have lots of hotels to compare; this one stands alone. Hotel staff were all eager to extend themselves and provide us with our slightest wish. Hotel decor is very tastefully done and the rooms are outstanding. Our room had a view of the water and was so comfortable and beautiful I hated to leave it. The bathroom was to die for. I love a soaking tub and this was perfect; the tub filled from the ceiling so the wonderfully scented bubble bath they provided really made tons of bubbles. Ahhh........All of the bath products they supply are top of the line and smell wonderful. They are in full size bottles so none of the dinky little sample sizes to try and squeeze out a drop. They have a great restaurant on the premises and the breakfasts were all superb (only meal we had there). With no reservation can recommend this hotel. Would revisit Seattle just to stay here.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Visit the Pike Market and have clam chowder in the chowder stall and mac and cheese at the cheese shop. Both are the best you’ll ever have. Have not had mac and cheese in 40 years (not my idea of great food) , but this is worth it. And the chowder will spoil you for life. Don’t get the small size, you’ll definitely want more. Watch the Fish fellows and enjoy the sites. It’s a market like no other in the world.

Loved this hotel

The rooms were very comfortable and had lots of high tech gear. Food in the restaurant was excellent and they had "happy hour" on Sunday from 3:30 on, which included not only half price drinks, but half price on many food items sufficient for a full dinner. Plan to return this summer.

Best hotel in a long time

Hotel 1000 is tastefully understated in every way. From the subtle excellent service to the simple elegance of the decor. They provide everything you would need without making a fuss over it. The food is excellent at the restaurant and not overpriced.

Great Service, Great Location

We checked in to this hotel for a 2 night, pre-cruise visit to Seattle. Upon learning at check-in that it was our first visit to Seattle, the clerk offered us a free glass of champagne. THe service continued to be exemplary from there. There were 3 of us in the room and a call to the front desk produced extra cups and glasses for beverages. There was a problem with the TV that we reported before leaving for dinner. After dinner the TV was fine and there was a note from the hotel engineer that he was able to fix our problem. I had broken a button and presented it to the concierge to see if they could find a replacement and, when we returned to the room, there was a sewing kit on the counter with a perfect match for the button taped to the box. We found the hotel close to waterfront attractions, a short walk to Pike Market and the monorail and centrally located to shopping and most tourist attraction. I would definitely recommend it to visitors to Seattle.

Great Hotel

We’ve stayed in Seattle many times. Hotel 1000 was a pleasant surprise. The location is wonderful to walk to sporting events or Pike Place Market. The staff is wonderful.

Great spot

The service was outstanding and the room was very comfortable -- plenty big enough for two without feeling cramped. A nice touch when you get your car out of valet -- water bottles in the cup holders. Granted valet was pricey, $32 a day. My wife and I will stay there again for sure

This hotel was excellent in comfort,location,and service. It was definitely 1st class!!! I hope to return again soon.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

We took a cab to check out Discovery Park but when we were ready to return we realized that a transit bus makes regular trips from the park to downtown. You can definitely save some money this way if you don’t mind taking a little extra time on the bus as opposed to a cab. However, most things were within walking distance.

Excellent Service with Great Location

Hotel was beautiful, and staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. Casey at the front desk was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable of the area. Seattle in itself is a wonderful city to visit, and staying at Hotel 1000 was just the icing on the cake. Thanks, for making our stay that much more enjoyable.
