Great service, old-ish accommodations. Haunted?
The Boulderado is a nice hotel that meets my key basic needs of a comfortable bed and available internet access for my 3-night stay. Its an older hotel. The amenities might not suit those who demand the the best, bigger TVs and a pool (which it lacked). Service was friendly, prompt and reliable, including convenient valet parking and an elevator operator to work the ancient (but kinda cool) elevator. The hotel restaurant and bar were both quite good. Its got some interesting history; rumor has it the hotel is haunted. A perfect place to stay at Halloween time!
Traveler's tip for business travelers
I normally stay at the hotel closest to the business Im visiting. But if youre visiting offices in the Louisville, CO, area, thats an industrial park with no restaurants available and nothing happening after business hours. In this case I happily put up with the 25 minute drive to the office to stay in Boulder, where theres more civilization, food options, etc.
