Bel Air Collection Hotel & Spa Cancun

PERFECT FOR 5 DAYS OF SUNSHINE

I would defiantly recommend this hotel, esp to couples, but do upgrade to the room with the jacuzzi, it is worth every extra penny having the view of the ocean, and being able to admire it from the tub while your drinking your complementary bubbles, is just amazing. Usually I go for more cultured holidays, I’m a big foodie so I like staying in apartments, or small hotels so I can go and experience the food markets and local cuisine, therefore going all inculusive was all new to me. Non-the-less my partner and I just fancied relaxing in the sunshine for 5 days, and the "Bel Air Collection" was just perfect for that purpose, and I must say that I was not disappointed in the food at all, esp. the breakfasts (fresh fruit, juice, cereal and pastries, then cooked to order was a huge selection of omelettes and mexican style treats, yum yum!) The food all tasted fresh, and I was delighted that everything was made to order, not an "all you can eat buffet" in sight. The staff were lovely and friendly but not intruding, just there when you needed them, and when you want to explore the rest of Cancun, the bell boy had plenty of usefull information. The bus service was right out side the hotel door, and ran every 5-10 minutes all the way to down town (approx 20-30min). The only complaint would be the music arrangement, dance music at breakfast, and chilled out jazz in the bar... it was a little confusing. But all in all, a great place to catch some rays, and enjoy great food...

A very nice place to rest and enjoy!

My wife and I wnet to Cancun and chose this hotel only based on the information we got through the internet. At first, we were a little concerned because sometimes what you see in the web site is not exactly what you will find out when getting there; however, in this case, it was a nice experience. The hotel is really good, all personel are very gentle. Resuming, we got a great experience and recommend to evrey one. We hope to get back there soon. The negative point was the shower because the water flow was faint and I think it might be improved, but this is insignificant in comparison to all good things we had in there.

IT GOT BETTER AS TIME WENT ON

WE DIDN’T ARRIVE UNTIL 4 AND ALTHOUGH CHECK IN WAS AT 3, WE WEREN’T GIVEN A ROOM UNTIL 5 AND WERE SENT BACK AND FORTH TO DIFFERENT ROOMS. THE FRONT DESK WAS EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED, BUT EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT!!!

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

TAKE THE BUS...IT RUNS ALL THE TIME AND DON’T LET THEM OVER CHARGE YOU. IT IS 15 PESOS FOR 2 PEOPLE TO GO ANYWHERE YOU WANT. THEY TRY TO OVERCHARGE THE TOURISTS, SO BEWARE!!!
