Best spot in Calgary
What a wonderful way to make Christmas easier - staying here made all the difference. The service was top notch, food was great, location was awesome, but my favorite part was the fitness area. With so much food and stress over the holidays, it was such a treat to have a gym, lap pool and jacuzzi in an area with huge glass ceilings and a waterslide for the kids. Everyone had fun burning off their calories and energy. The location was great for shopping and I can imagine in the summer it is ideal for walking/jogging along the river and exploring. Only cautionary note, and they were up front about it, is the parking. Because it is located downtown it is pricey. Overall, I highly recommend.

Location ... location... location...
About 20 mins from Calgary airport. Local attractions may be few but it makes a good choice for business stay where you get complimentary internet, tea time, and breakfast. Taste of Calgary Festival made my day and it was just a few steps away from the hotel main entrance.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Eau Claire Market is just across the street with cinema, restaurants, foodcourt, some shopping, and a gym. I am not a gym’s fan and I found the adjacent Prince’s Island to be a great place for biking, running, or an after dinner stroll. It is a family friendly and it has a big playground and benches. If you time it right, you get to enjoy The taste of Calgary Festival in the hotel’s front yard!

Great place for families
Every room is a suite so there is the option of privacy for parents. Has a very small kitchen area with microwave, fridge and sink as well so particularly useful if you have young children. Right across from the YMCA with super facilities and many restaurants. Overall a good pick but parking costs are ridiculous!
