Wish we had planned to stay longer
We only planned one night at Gaige House in our tour of Napa/Sonoma. We would have liked to stay longer. Very relaxing atmosphere and very hospitable. We highly recommend the poolside room and/or the neighboring forest view room.

Best Place in Sonoma!
We stayed at the Gaige House for a few days of our California honeymoon. We absolutely loved it! Such a neat house with history and a warm feel but also the comforts of a luxury hotel. Breakfast is served free to guests and is a real treat and there are always homemade cookies to greet you when you enter the hotel. We would love to stay at the Gaige House again!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
We recommend walking to dinner at the Fig bar a couple minutes down the road. Also we really enjoyed taking a bike/wine tour through the vineyards and doing some tastings

Great stay to Sonoma
A wonderful, peaceful place. Everyday they offer a cheeze and wine degustation, also coffee and fresh bake cookies. After a day in the winery, you have a pool and I had a nice terrasse. Me and my husband went to the market and got some wine with cold cuts and had a romantic pic-nic.The young man working there and very nice offered to us if we were to tired to rent a movie and had reviews from them it was really nice of him.We also went to the outlet in Napa and they offered us a map for directions. The place was clean and the gardens were well taking care of. My disappointment come from the fact that we thougth we would have a fireplace but we did not.The room have no small fridge that was not convenient at all, but the women did put our things in the fridge, that was nice.
Traveler's tip on shopping
For us 2 days there is enough, you can do so much wineries and tasting in 2 days, then the shopping.
