Charming Hotel in Sante Fe
Right off the main Plaza, this hotel sits on a quiet street. There is a lovely courtyard which is surrounded by two stories of rooms on either side. You are close to restaurants and museums. We never used our car once we parked. The room was lovely, with a fireplace and beautiful bedding. We would stay here again, for sure.

Vacation w/Girlfriends
This hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the plaza without a car. It is as cute as the pictures show on Expedia. Note the large fee for parking at the hotel (that should come with the room). The bar with nightly entertainment was closed on most nights due to lack of customers. That was very disappointing when returning to the hotel for a nightcap; especially because that was one of the reasons we chose the hotel. The rooms are small but cute and nicely decorated. The rooms were clean and maid service was good. Our room was accessed through a flight of stairs which was fine for us. If you cannot use the stairs, there are ground floor and elevator accessible rooms. On our first morning, the handle to the shower broke. It was fixed by the time we returned that night. There are numerous restaurants within a short walk, even just next door. We went during the off-season so the price was right for the hotel but Im not sure I would feel the same way in-season. Parts of New Mexico are very rural and a highway might turn out to be a dirt road.

Location Location Location!!
This charming hotel is just off the Plaza and convenient to all that Santa Fe has to offer. The staff is very accomodating and the rooms are very clean and neat. Each room is a bit different. I say this because if for some reason you dont like your room, perhaps you can change! It was quite cold when we arrived and we asked the staff for wood for the fireplace and they not only brought it, they built and lit the fire for us! There are many restaurants within walking distance and coffee in the lobby. The bath was a bit small, but the bed was quite good. Unfortunately, the heat didnt work very well and the bedroom would be hot while the living area was cold. But yes, there are two rooms with 2 TVs which pleased my football-loving husband. We plan to stay there again when we go to Santa Fe.
Santa Fe is on the high desert plain. Most tourists are not accustomed to walking at this altitude and tire easily. Be sure to take water with you and drink often. You can become dehydrated before you realise. Most of the shops and museums have water available for this reason. It takes about 10 days to become accustomed to the altitude.
