Rustic neo-1940’s Bavaran Ski Chalet
We loved the neo-1940’s simulation of the Bavarian Alps Chalet which was so popular in the middle of the last century as the ski industry took off after WW II. Old barn boards and a basement/walkout pub loaded with artifacts were a delight. No air, I guess, brought down the ranking of some past guests, but ... the food ... the food is to die for. Definitely going back.

Old and outdated.
Very old and outdated. Not a four star hotel for the area. Hot tub didn’t work well, continental breakfast was horrible, beds were stiff, needs to be updated for the price it costs to stay there. One good point was the view was pretty and close to Ski resort. Other than that, I think I could find a better place for the money.

Ben and Jerry’s Factory is a great experience and is fun for all ages. Plus free samples of ice cream!!!!

Not good for summer times
I stayed at this inn for 1 day on July 30. Because there were nearly no guests during my stay, many services were not operating normally. I don’t recommend this inn for summer time when Stowe area is not that busy with visitors. But based on the facilities and everything, it should be a good choice for skiing and stuff during the winter times.
