Second stay at this hotel
I had stayed at this Hotel in September and the room was perfect, it was the intra-coastal side, this stay in October was the "ocean" view..in the distance... the Intra-coastal side is much more beautiful..the room I was in this time had a terrible smell the four days I was there..very strange..couldn’t quite place was it was..as I said though, the other room was perfect. Had a different maid this time that could only say " No Problem". Yikes... The front desk was VERY helpful. The service staff in the" Watercolors" breafast area were excellent, especially Greg, very entertaining. I still would stay there again but always request the intra coastal view..too gorgeous.
City Fish Market excellent for anything, especially lobster ( Boca Raton) (a little expensive but worth every penny), Whale’s Rib in Deerfield Beach for amazing Rock Shrimp(Very reasonably priced), Flakowitz in Boca for breakfast A MUST, 4 egg omlettes, baked salmon salad on fresh bagels or bialys YUM..(very reasonably priced).

The only thing I wasn’t happy with is that I was next door to some drinking and loud long term stay construction workers. I suggest that the hotel bunch them all together so that they don’t annoy other guests

Local Escape
Being a local and looking for an inexpensive getaway, I found the Bridge Hotel to be a satisfactory "escape". I stayed on the 5th floor facing the ocean and had a lovely sunset on the open air balcony sipping wine. After sunset we dined in the outside Water Colors restaurant. Being one block from the ocean allowed for a nice after dinner walk to the beach for toe dipping in the ocean. Returning from out walk to an adequately clean and cool room for a moon in the sky view from our balcony for after dinner drinks. I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a casual lower scaled stay.
