Bilderberg Garden Hotel
Nice hotel. Nice bar. Good location - within 5 minute walking distance to two trains. Had room over kitchen and it was noisy until 1 AM and the noise started at 5:30 AM. At arrive-in I was told breakfast was 22 Euros a day or 17 Euros a day if bought in advanced. I purchased four breakfasts. At check-out I was charged 30 Euros a day. Needed two towels to soak up water from the bathroom floor that the shower door wouldn’t keep in.

Great hotel
We were very pleased with the Bilderberg Garden Hotel. In a beautiful suburban neighborhood, it is quiet and relaxing. However, the museum district is a short walk or tram ride away and the rest of the city is easily accessible by tram (tram stop two blocks from the hotel). The staff was incredible! Everyone was so helpful and willing to accomodate us. The room was a good size for European hotels with a large double bed. It was clean and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel had amazing food and our meal there was one of the highlights of the trip! We had a few drinks in the lounge of the hotel on one of our last nights and regret we didn’t do this more often as the couches and chairs there were very comfortable and it was a nice place to plan the next day. Room service was also fast and delicious. We would glady return to the Bilderberg Garden on our next trip to Amsterdam!

Great Find!
I found this hotel through Expedia. I have been to Amsterdam numerous times but wanted to stay in a different neighborhood this time. Loved the neighboord and the hotel itself!! The hotel is located in a residential neighboord but yet close enough - 10 minutes tram ride - to the center of the city and all its ra-ra. The staff was very, very professional. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to A’dam.
Traveler's tip on dining
The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was a bit expensive. The food selection was so so for the price tag. There are great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel that are worth exploring. One can also take the tram and eat elsewhere in the city.
