Convenience & Comfort in Fairbanks
I had the time of my life while staying at the Alpine. The food and service were good. It is a close and convenient location in relation to the airport, sights in Fairbanks and around. Nice, quite, and respectful of guests and their time. Convenience of computer/internet in the lobby. Nice gift shop. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent basic lodging.
The hotel is new and rooms are clean and comfortable with a pleasant and responsive staff. A wide range of cable TV channels, continental breakfast and a pleasant lobby combined with very easy airport acess make this a good place to stay.
I had to visit during December due to my son’s very limited availability since he is on active duty in the US Air Force. The weather was not a problem since the temperature did not go much below zero during my visit - just bundle up. Also, although daylight is limited to about five hours during December and the brightness is similar to a cloudy day I really did not find the experience too different from Upstate New York. Folks from Florida or California might find the weather and limited daylight more of an issue. Clearly, Summer would be a better time to visit.

I spent a week at the Alpine Lodge in the fall. Clean, safe, convenient, friendly hotel near the airport.
