Best Stay Ever
The Staff is exceptional especially Brian Who works @ The front desk - gave us all sorts of Great sight seeing ideas & coupons!! Its an easy walk to ANYWHERE from this Hotel - Its convienantly located 2 blocks from Gaslamp - 11 blocks to the Maritime Museum. The Hotel’s bar is a great place to relax - Plenty or room to sit - breakfast is worth it to. There were 2 couples staying with us at the same hotel we all agreed that this would be the place to stay when we return. The Hotel provides you with maps all over the gaslamp district and places to eat. Some have said the rooms were small, But for the age of the hotel I was impressed with the size of the room. The Bed was heaven. The bus depot is located next door - We never had any issues walking past there or with people in the area. You Will Love This Hotel!! The only Thing negative was the shower needed a curtain.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
$16.00 to the Zoo by cab or to Old town. Catch The trolley @ the mall which is 1 block away - thats $32.00 worth the money takes you to coronado island, Old Town, Balboa Park and drops you back at the mall at the end of the day!! Best Place to Eat: Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza - Great Wine & BEST dessert ever (2 blocks over and 3 blocks up 4th). For Elegant Dining I recommend Merk - Best Salmon around!

This hotel was plush and comfortable. Convienient location. Friendly staff. Good value. Would stay there again.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
This hotel is located on a major bus route and is close to the MTS transit store where you can buy bus and trolley passes. The bus 992 takes you from the airport to the hotel for $2.50.

Nice Room, just too small
The hotel room was nice and clean, but small. I tried to order dinner from the restaurant downstairs by calling them but they din’t picked up the phone, I had to go and order in person and then come back to pick up my order. Not impressed with the food.
