Relaxing Location

The Admiral Fell Inn was a charming hotel with extremely gracious staff. It provided a nice little get-away prior to a business meeting at the harbor.

Traveler's tip on dining

An array of nice restaurants located nearby and the wharf was absolutely wonderful to just sit and read a book or the paper.

Loved it!

My boyfriend and I are low maintenance travelers, and were not expecting too much from an older hotel in an area we weren’t familiar with. Fells Point is wonderful for young travelers though, it has a great atmosphere and we took advantage of the short water taxi ride to the Inner Harbor quite often. The Inn was really a beautiful historic building. Our room was bigger than most we have stayed in (1 king bed) although the bathroom is a bit on the small side. It is in a very convenient spot as well. The staff at the Inn was by far the kindest, friendliest, and most accomodating I have dealt with for as long as I can remember. We checked in a little after 11:30 PM on a Thursday night and had no problems. We were reminded to not use the parking garage that is closed at midnight as well. Overall, we were very happy with our visit and would definitely consider staying at the Inn for our next trip.

Traveler's tip

Don’t park in the garage closest to the Inn, it is closed all day on Sundays. Metered parking on the street is plentiful, and free overnight until 10am. The water taxi is only $9 a day to ride all day, and is right across the street from the Inn. There is a $9.95 "resort fee" which is a bit of a ripoff if you don’t use the included amenities, which include 2 bottles of water per day, internet access, fitness center access, etc.

Great location. Lovely rooms

You can’t ask much more for a Fell’s Point location. Central to all the action, restaurants and Harbor Ferry. The rooms are well appointed, the only drawback the antiquated bathrooms. We had a fourth floor corner room with 4 windows and a great view of both harbor and square. Note: shower very early or later, hot water seemed to be unavailable at 7:30 AM on a Monday.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Valet parking is $$$$$$ . Check out the Carolina Street parking lot, the second lot on your right $10.00 overnight parking!
