Definitely go back
The room and location were great-well within walking distance of downtown and centered for my other activities. Parking is very limited-mostly to the street when you can find it. My only issue with the room was the window did not open and it was kind of stuffy.

Location, location, location...
This is the spot, in the heart of it all... classic downtown Palm Springs. Stroll to the shops and restaurants along Palm Canyon Drive, party to your hearts content at night, then just walk across a parking lot and one street to collapse safely in your room. Obviously an older hotel, but maintained nicely (including the grounds). We spent two nights, and enjoyed the stay.

You get what you pay for......
An fairly attractively styled hotel, with nice gardens / pool area, which is ideally situated in a quiet road 1 block west of Palm Springs main street. This place could really be quite chic if only some money was spent on the rooms....ours definitely needed a refurb (especially the bathroom)dull and dingy and in definite need of brightening up and modernising. Make sure you specify a room overlooking the pool because some are tucked away around the back with a very limited view. For the price it was OK, but it could be much better.
