Old World Elegance. Extremely gracious proprietors. Delightful staff. Location superb.
Lovely, serene garden in the back is a peaceful retreat. My room was facing the interior courtyard, so I didn’t hear any of the boat traffic (although that would be music to my ears considering the car/urban noise I’m accustomed to at home in DC).

Lot’s of character & Great Location: would go back
As many, I wasn’t sure about this hotel due to the mix reviews, but our stay was great. This must have been a great hotel in the 60’ (decor wise) but hasn’t gone through any modernization since. So even though everything is so outdated (bad for some), it has lots of character(good for others). Our room was amazing, we paid regular and got windows and balconies overlooking the canal. The bathroom was in great condition, everything clean and the breakfast is continental, very very good.

Great hotel in a wonderful city
My husband and I went to Venice on May. It was wonderful. We loved the hotel. Friendly staff, a big room with a huge bathroom. Copious breakfast in the morning, if you wake up early you can have the breakfast in the courtyard. We received an excellent service. The hotel administrator was frequently asking the guest about the service quality which I found good. Very clean room. The TV was small, but anyway with all the wonderful things you have to see in the city it doesn’t worth to stay in your room to watch TV.
