It’s OK
It’s ok but was cool for the price. I think the hotel could use some upgrades though. The pipes under the sink which were clearly visible could have been cleaned. Also, I think they should reconsider the floorplan for the room I had. The bed was right where you come into the room and it felt like it was an invasion of privacy when I was in the bed (had to cover up) and my b/f opened the door and I could see the hallway and people walking pass could see in our room. Also, we had a flat screen in the bedroom which had a broken remote which they never satisfied. The people were nice. Never got up early enough to try out the complimentary breakfast so no comment on that. The pool didn’t look inviting even though I love to swim. Other than those things, it was OK.

Would stay here again
This is the third different hotel we have stayed at in VA Beach. All have been good! Suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great oceanfront balcony, good location nearer end of boardwalk. Only real negative was the slow, noisy, jerky elevators. Pool, whirlpool steamroom and sauna were great for relaxing.

Food was great everywhere we went, from Planet Pizza across the street, to Fish Bones, Mahi Mahs and Black Angus- all were enjoyable and within easy walking distance!

Most affordable suites in Virginia Beach.
Barclay Towers is clean, affordable, convenient, and hotel staff goes out of their way to insure a great stay. The complimentary continental breakfast was more than adequate. Nights are quiet at this hotel and parking is free!
