plain outside, lovely inside
Not impressed by the outside look, but the rooms and common areas were very nice. Clean, pleasant, comfortable. Two unexpected perks: complimentary wine in the bar in the evening and a glorious full breakfast, also complimentary. Enough to give you energy for the whole day! Helpful staff. An overall positive experience. No ocean views but the rest made up for it. And the rooms were quiet in spite of the presence of the 101 just outside the building.

Liked the hotel and room, nasty breakfast!
The hotel was great in service, and I was very happy with accommodations. I could not believe that the full hot breakfast offered was so awful. There was a lot and a good variety, but inedible! The clincher in my book was the lukewarm coffee. Personally, they should switch to a continental style breakfast or hire someone who knows how to cook!!
The hotel is situated across from the outlet mall and offers some fantastic shopping. On a clear day, depending on your room location, you can have a panoramic view of beach and ocean. The hotel is located right off the freeway, so easy access to other beach communities.

Nice place to stay.
Comfortable anc clean room. Excellent breakfast. If you like sushi, just walk cross the street.
