We will never return
The whole experience was a nightmare. Our first room was right over a loudspeaker with extremely obnoxious music playing constantly. Everything in the room was soaking wet. When we were changed to another room it was slightly better but everything was damp: towels, floors, bedspreads, etc. The halls were kept at a freezing level. The restaurant "service" was non-existent and the food, very poor quality. The chairs at the pool were arranged in long rows without access; when we moved one chair to be able to sit down, a staff person immediately moved it back. Next time, we’ll spend a little more and stay at another hotel.
A wonderful experience for families in Ixtapa on New Year’s eve is the return of turtle hatchlings to the ocean at sunset. Each child is given a baby turtle to release and is urged to name it and cheer it on as the hatchling scrambles over the sand to the water.

This hotel is best for family stays.
This hotel had fairly good food and wonderful entertainment in the evening. We were there with another couple and because of the many families booking the hotel it was hard to find seating at the pool or beach. Also, the music was pretty loud around the pool area. I think if I had had my grandchildren along I would have had a more favorable impression. The dining staff were exceptional!
