Surely not the best place...
...for a romantic honey moon. Hotel is clean, friendly, comfortable, but it’s really more a place for families with kids. Ho, and where that clear blue water we saw on pictures?

Eh...
Rooms were clean but poorly maintained (cracked tile, doors don’t shut) got some sort of foodbourne disease while on vacation- don’t know if it was from the hotel or not little choice on food nice pool areas and drinks watersports a plus- people running them were kind of rude offered good day trips

Great Time in St. Lucia
My fiance and I decided to marry in St. Lucia and took my teenage sons. The Almond Morgan Bay Resort was wonderful. The staff that handled our wedding was excellent. We had deluxe ocean view rooms which were very comfortable two room suites with balconies. The restaurants in the resort are quite good, the staff is very friendly and helpful, service was good to excellent, the water sport sign up was easy and available, the 4 pools are great, and the "all-inclusive" aspect fantastic. Bring your own tennis racquets and can of balls, as well as table tennis paddles and balls. The fitness center was pretty well equipped. In general, a wonderful 4 star experience with a big smile.
Traveler's tip
If you are coming into the Hewanorra airport and have to get to the Castries side of the island, either check into flying into the other airport or definitely consider taking a helicopter. It doesn’t cost much more than going by car, but it cuts out a terrible 2+ hour road trip and is great fun. It takes about 15 minutes by helicopter.
