Aqua Waikiki Wave
The hotel was very nice and centrally located; the staff were particularly helpful and friendly; the rates were competitive. The free breakfast sponsored by Expedia was also a plus.

Just Okay
This hotel was in the heart of Waikiki. Amenities were good except for the parking garage. It is very small, so if you stay out late at night you run the risk of having no place to park. Luckily, we had a small car on this trip so we were able to park in one of the VERY short parking stalls. For the parking garage setup alone, I would not stay there again nor recommend this place to others. Also, it is not very clear where to park when you are first checking in. Other than that, the price was good and the comfort was good. We like the free wi-fi/ internet access. We used it almost nightly to decide what attraction to see the next day.

Good for the Price
The price was great and it was close to the beach and other attractions. It was hard to sleep because of the noise. We heard doors closing all night--it would have been nice to have the doors designed so they close a little quieter. We heard music from the clubs close by. The restaurant at the hotel was very nice. The room was simple but was kept clean. The staff was nice as well.
If you want to party all night, enjoy crowed beaches with big waves, and lots of food choices Oahu is a great place to go. Everything is close by so we didn’t have to rent a car. If you want an island experience choose a different island.
