Peaceful night’s sleep
We think this was the quietest hotel we have ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable, too.

Nice, new resort-style hotel in San Luis gets my vote!
My daughter and I traveled to San Luis Obispo to check out the local university, Cal Poly in our quest for the best fit for her next four years of education. Not only did the Courtyard Marriott offer us a very comfortable home-base, but the staff went out of their way to give us suggestions on local restaurants, hotspots and thoroughly sold us on their quaint city. If my daughter chooses Cal Poly, the Courtyard by Marriott will certainly see me a lot for the next four years!

Meandering through the streets of downtown San Luis Obispo is one of the highlights of the area. Not only can you find great dining, but the area offers a wide array of upscale boutiques and local flavor for everyone’s taste and budget. From strolling alongside the creek next to the old Spanish Mission with a ice-cream cone to checking out the local wineries, San Luis is a great little get-a-way on California’s Central Coast.
